‘Tinge – Coastal Cuisines’ takes you on a flavourful journey across India’s coastal belt with delicious and authentic Konkan, Goan, Malabar, Coromandel and Coastal Andhra cuisines. Our delectable preparations are a perfect blend of spices and a variety of flavours from across the coast of India. The tropical climate influences the food prepared across the coastal belt of India, giving rise to delicacies rich in the aroma, taste and texture of local spices and other ingredients.

Goan

Goan cuisine needs no introduction, with classic delicacies like Cafreal and Xacuti known across the world. Some of the main ingredients used include rice, seafood, coconut, meat, and local spices. Goa is a paradise for seafood lovers, with dishes incorporating a blend of flavours from native and foreign cultures.

Konkan

Konkan cuisine comes from the shores of Maharashtra and Karnataka. These areas make abundant use of seafood, chillies, coconut, and local spices in their fiery dishes, providing a prominent coastal touch to the region’s culinary fare.

Malabar

Malabari food is unique to the northern coastal region of Kerala, consisting of a plethora of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that are a visual delight as well as a complete sensory experience. Malabar cuisine is distinct due to the influence of various cultures, as it incorporates the flavours of Arab, Brahmin, Zamorin and Chirakkal cooking styles.

Coromandel

The Coromandel Coast spans the southeastern coastal region of India, and is a vibrant culinary destination with spicy, mouth-watering surprises that are bound to excite and delight connoisseurs of great food.

Coastal Andhra

Coastal Andhra cuisine is predominantly rice-based, making use of fiery chillies, mustard, groundnuts, and curry leaves in irresistibly spicy seafood curries and other regional delicacies.
